Last night was fun… The movie turned out to be (not unexpectedly) so-so… but the company was epic.
Just feeling depressed at the moment… Maybe it’s just over due, after keeping myself busy for so long, distracting myself from that which haunts me from within…
It’s just everything, the deadlines, expectations, the unfinished business, the obligations… […]
So in a futile attempt to explain why this blog has been so neglected… (I can;t be THAT busy can I?… actually…) One week from now, the run of The Oral Stage production “How I Learned to Drive” begins it’s run.
Growing up in a family with thin, penetrable personal boundaries, Li’l Bit becomes the victim of an incestuous intimacy - Uncle Peck does not only teach his teenage niece to drive, but sexualises her childhood as well.
Narrated through a series of bittersweet flashbacks, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE is an honest, coming-of-age account on forgiveness, healing and growth – and how one can find light even from the unhealthiest of relationships.

Sigh… no reply. I guess you’re not there. Times like this I wish you were. I need a hug. We missed each other again… or at least, I know I missed you.
Tomorrow is another day I guess…
The life of an artist is centred around creation, the difference between work and art however is that work is created by the mind, while art is created by the soul.
While it is work that may feed our body, it is art that will keep us whole. Thus forget not in times of haste and commitments that the soul need be nurished too.
