(Catholic) Herald’s KDN under threats?
Little Birds told Screenshots that the Herald, the newsletter published by KL-based Archdiocesan Pastoral Centre for the Catholics community in Malaysia, may have difficulty in renewing its printing and publication permit unless the Bahasa Malaysia section is scrapped.
The Herald, I was told, has been publishing in four-language sections every issue in the past many years. The Bahasa Malaysia section has been an effective communication channel to reach out to the Catholics among the indigenous communities in Sabah and Sarawak.
The printing and publication permit is controlled by the Internal Security Minister, of which zzzzzzzzzzzz is the reigning minister.

You know, I’ve heard people complain a lot of about religious fundamentalism and how religion sometimes makes people do stupid things (like suicide bombings, denying global warming, abstinence as effective birth control etc..)
But how on God’s green Earth do people start complaining that Christmas is too Christian?

“…never trust anyone who uses business terms like ROI, for he cares not for you or society, but only for what he can remove from your wallet, without getting arrested over it. “ ~ doas777
I’ve always wanted to say this to people who get involved with all sorts of schemes to make money. Unless you create a product or render a service, purely marketing driven initiatives may work for a little while, but in the end you’re going to crash and burn and end up poorer.
It’s simple common sense. Nobody wants to buy nothing.
